Tutor Registration & Vetting

We undertake a strict safeguarding and vetting procedure to ensure that every member of staff we work with has undergone the most meticulous background and safety checks possible. Not only do we carry out these checks, but we also go above and beyond in our selection process of which staff to work with. For example: two average references are not sufficient, our expectation is a minimum of two Good or Outstanding references before a Tutor can work with our schools.

Platform Safety and Safeguarding Online

Our safety measures do not stop at initial registration of a tutor. We recognise that teaching online is somewhat different and brings with it different benefits and risks. As we move further into an age where technology is at the forefront of learning, Magisters Tuition have worked tirelessly to create a bespoke online tuition platform that provides not only tools and resources for excellent lessons, but an environment where safeguarding is prioritised and valued at the utmost importance.

To combat any fears your school may have surrounding online learning, see below a list of measures we have put in place to ensure our interactive learning environment is of the highest standards in the industry:


1. When on-boarding your school and your students, each school can decide how much or how little information is provided about students. This means we don't need students full names or any other details outside of their academic needs. We can even tutor students completely anonymously should you wish.

2. Your school will be given logins to the platform, enabling you to visit lessons in real time to review lesson quality and student engagement, ensuring we are delivering on our promises and you are receiving a value for money service.

3. All lessons are recorded and should there ever be an instance whereby you would like to review footage, we can access the lesson and send you the classroom footage. The only time this footage can be accessed, is if there is a safeguarding concern that requires investigation. This is stored securely (AES-256 encryption algorithm) with only senior management enabled to access this upon request from a school. 

4. Your platform logins will enable you to view any communication between a tutor and a student at any point in time. This includes in class chat functions and also platform inbox facilities. You can oversee anything, as can we to ensure the safety of everyone.

5. Once connected with a student/your school, a tutor's full profile will be visible with their experience, work history along with an up to date profile photo ensuring you and your students know who to expect in the classroom.
